Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
Art therapy enables you to communicate the way you’re feeling through making art in groups and in one to one sessions. Artwork can take many forms, such as painting, drawing and sculpture.
We provide a really supportive environment for making links with others, addressing distressing feelings, and making positive steps in your recovery. The aim is to develop a your insight into your personality in terms of realising your strengths and understanding how your behaviour may be preventing you from coping with everyday life.
Sessions take place in the Pegasus Centre on the St Bernard’s site in Ealing, at mental health resource centres and in non-mental health venues in the local community.
We also have links with a network of local arts and user-led organisations and we help to promote wellbeing through the arts.
We work with people in the Ealing area, and we’re open to inpatients and people in the community. No previous experience of art is needed to benefit from art therapy.
We accept both self-referrals and referrals from professionals.
If your referral is accepted, you’ll have an initial consultation with an art therapist to find out what kind of sessions would be most appropriate for you.
