Trust's statement on service disruption at Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Unit

31 Jan 2018

Commenting following flooding in West London, a spokesperson for West London Mental Health NHS Trust said:

“The flooding in West London is having a significant impact on Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Unit with no running water available from the mains earlier today.

“We are working closely and at pace with Thames Water and partners to resolve the issue and a temporary fix has been put in place to ensure limited water supply.

“We are working to ensure that continuity of care is maintained for patients.

“We are in the process of moving a small number of patients to alternative accommodation on our other units. Where a patient has been temporarily moved, family and carers have been informed and are being kept up to date.

“If you are a family member of a patient at Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Unit and need to contact the Trust, please call 020 8354 8354.”
