Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign to bring caring right out into the open – recognising and celebrating the contribution carers make to families and communities throughout the UK.

West London Mental Health Trust will be supporting the campaign; raising awareness, recognising and celebrating the contribution made by carers as well as affirming our ongoing commitment to implementing the Triangle of Care.

The Triangle of Care sets out how carers, service users and professionals should work together to promote safety and recovery, and to sustain wellbeing in mental health, by including and supporting carers.

A number of events and activities are being planned across the Trust, including special thank you cards, afternoon teas, presentations and stands at key meetings, to raise awareness of carers’ contributions and to reflect how we are building stronger relationships and an appreciation of our carers through the Triangle of Care.
