It will give staff, patients and carers, local organisations and members of the public a chance to hear about changes, improvements and achievements made by the trust.
The event will include performances, films and presentations, and gives attendees a chance to pose questions to a panel made up of senior managers, carers and experts by experience. In addition to this, there will be interactive stalls hosted by the trust’s various services, including One You Ealing, which has helped 2,000 Ealing residents quit smoking since launching just a year ago, and the trust’s 24/7 Single Point of Access helpline. West London Mental Health NHS Trust’s IAPT services will demonstrate their new online therapy programme live and the trust’s co-production partner, West London Collaborative, will also be present.
Carolyn Regan, Chief Executive of West London Mental Health NHS Trust, said: “Our annual general meeting gives us an opportunity to promote the transparent and open culture we strive for in the trust. We use this event as a way to educate everyone from our staff to the general public on the challenges we are facing, showcase the breadth of our services and most importantly, discuss how we are making progress.
“Anyone with an interest in health care needs to care about what is happening in our trust, and we look forward to welcoming a range of people to our annual general meeting this year.”
