The board has operational responsibility for running the trust. The people who sit on the board are ultimately responsible for our performance and the way we deliver mental health care and improve services.
The board’s responsibilities include setting the trust’s strategic direction, ensuring the quality of our clinical services and overseeing financial performance.
Non-executive directors are appointed by NHS Improvement for the skills and experience they can bring from ‘outside’ the organisation. The board is led by a non-executive chair.
Members of the public are very welcome to attend our monthly board meetings. If you have a question or don’t understand any of the language being used in a meeting, please let someone know.
